Freight Based on Volume

You can setup Micronet so it automatically calculates the freight “out” to customers based on the Volume field set in the Inventory master file for the products sold. The Volume field can be used to represent the cubic metres (m³) of products. When Micronet calculates freight on an order, users always have the choice to manually override the amount on the Invoice Total screen.

For Micronet to calculate freight automatically, you need to configure:

• the items in the Inventory master file
• a freight table in the Freight master file
• customer delivery addresses and the rates that apply.
